After a long love for the Brazilian musical treasure and countless trips to Brazil, Hammar has now put together a musical and exciting “dream team” perfectly suited to unite the best of Hammar’s two favorite worlds – jazz and Brazilian music. 

– This is a dream project that I have had in mind for a long time, I have always loved Brazilian music. It will simply be a crossover between samba, bossa nova and jazz. Very swinging, she says.

The newly formed group is called Aventura Brasileira and consists of top-class musicians from Sweden and Brazil. The concerts are characterized by playfulness, swing and catchy rhythms.

Hammar, Farias and Andrade are responsible for the compositions. Original music is mixed with contributions from the Brazilian song treasure.
